LILY OF THE VALLEY

Composed in 1948 as a symbol of postwar renewal, Lily of the Valley arrived eight years before the note became the star of Dior's Diorissimo; perfumer Domitille Michalon-Bertier has since restored the formula. Since lily-of-the-valley cannot be extracted naturally, it's recomposed here as an airy, floral-green breeze with fresh rose and jasmine, settling into a musky, woody base.
