BOURRASQUE

First composed in 1937-38 by Paul Vacher and reimagined decades later by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Bourrasque was originally advertised as simply strong, strong, strong. It opens with a spiced citrus burst of chili, ginger and cardamom, unfolds through a rich floral heart of osmanthus, rose and opoponax, and settles into an earthy, mossy base of patchouli, oakmoss and hyraceum.

Top Notes:
Chili, lemon, ginger, cardamom, and night blooming jasmine

Middle Notes:
Osmanthus, rose, strawberry, styrax, and opoponax

Base Notes:
Patchouli, oakmoss, hyraceum, cistus, and oak infusion
